At FixResume ("we", "our", or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your professional information. This policy explains our "Privacy-First" approach to resume optimization.
2. Data Handling & Non-Storage
We operate on a principle of data minimization:
- No Permanent Storage: We do not store your uploaded resumes or the extracted text in our permanent database beyond the active session required for AI processing.
- No Third-Party Sharing: Your information is never shared with external websites, advertisers, or data brokers.
- Encryption: Any data temporarily held during processing is protected with industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
3. Limited Data Collection
To provide our service, we only collect the bare minimum:
- Identity Data: Basic profile info (Name/Email) for account management.
- Technical Data: IP address and browser type for security monitoring.
- Usage Data: Anonymous statistics to improve our AI models (never linked to your identity).
4. Your Control
You have full control over your account. You can delete your profile and all associated metadata at any time through the Settings dashboard. Once deleted, all associated records are permanently purged from our servers.
